Hi Earthlings! Taylor here from Zorpads (the guy on the other end of the emails if you send a question to info@zorpads.com). We get some questions every once in a while about where you should place Zorpads, so we’ve got some tips and tricks for you to give your kicks the boost they deserve. A note, people wear Zorpads in a variety of different ways because—as we like to say here—no two feet are the same, not even your own! So these are our recommendations from our 2+ years of making Zorpads.
1. For Kids’ Shoes, Athletic Shoes, and if you have feet with particularly low arches, we definitely recommend placing Zorpads underneath the tongue of the shoe. Here’s the deal: if there’s a lot of friction on the bottom of the shoe (i.e. you’re running around a soccer field) the microabrasions can wipe the Zorpad off the insole. You’ll get the same odor-zapping power of the Zorpad if you just stick it under the tongue, AND it’ll stay in place!
Same idea here for low-arch feet and kids’ shoes—there’s a ton of friction if you don’t have a high arch (kids’ arches develop later, so include them here too). Just stick the Zorpad under the tongue and you’re good to go!Same idea here, depending on how you’re using the shoe, or how low your arch is, or if you have particularly smelly toes, you could place Zorpads in either location. Truth be told, they work great for most of our customers in either location, but find what works for you!
3. For Casual Shoes, user’s choice! The instep works and the tongue works too.
Casual shoes generally experience less friction than athletic shoes, which makes the instep a great option for placing your Zorpad. But, if you’re having issues finding a spot that’s either far enough back or forward to ensure that it stays stuck, give the ol’ tongue a shot! It should work out better for you.
As you can see, there are many ways to wear Zorpads! If you’re finding that you’re having difficulty finding the right spot, give us a shout at info@zorpads.com and we’ll work with you to get you up and running with the freshest feet.
Until next time, earthlings!
Taylor
